A brief ceremony to distribute a number of cheques for medical expenses was held on Sunday, June 4th, 2023 at the Franklyn Browne Community Centre in St. James Parish.

The initiative was spearheaded by Mr. Alexis Jeffers who thanked the St. James community and the Nevisian public on a whole for their various contributions that were made which resulted in the success of a fundraiser that was held on White Monday (May 29th) in Brick Kiln.

This was Mr. Jeffers as he gave a brief overview of the proceeding:

The cheques were distributed to three persons in the St. James community, they are: Mr. Thomas Dore, Mrs. Miranda Alexander and Mr. Tesson ‘Manders’ Clarke. Each were given a total of $EC 6,000.00.

Sunday’s ceremony was chaired by Ms. Janesha Daniel.
