Venezuelan naval ship opened to public at Port Zante

Venezuelan naval ship, “Simon Bolivar” is currently docked in the federation of St. Kitts and Nevis.

 

 

 

The Class A ship, which is used as a training vessel for the Venezuelan navy, is currently on its 33rd overseas training cruise Caribe 2023 and is in SKN with 65 cadets, at Port Zante.

 

 

 

The ship is currently open to the public for anyone wishing to learn about Venezuela’s culture and military history, beginning (today) Wednesday 26th and continuing until Friday 28th April before departing on Saturday evening.

 

 

 

Visiting times will be Thursday-9am to 4pm and Friday-11am to 4pm. The ship has already been visited by a number of officials, including non-resident Ambassador to the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, His Excellency Dr. Norgen Wilson, and Chargé d’ Affaires Ad Hoc of the Embassy of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Mr. Marco Antonio Guzmán Adrian and a number of school representatives.
