Prime Minister Harris made these remarks on the latest edition of the Leadership Matters program.  

He went into further details on how the general public can contribute to reducing pollution in our environment:

The Department of environment disclosed in July 2020, that it has submitted a proposal to the Members of Cabinet to impose a ban on plastics. 

If passed, the ban is expected to be conducted in a three-phased approach, over a five-year-timeline.
