Senior Meteorologist, Mr. Elmo Burke.
There is a small window of opportunity for this system to strengthen into a hurricane, prior to reaching the Windward Islands on Saturday.
Regardless of the exact strength of this system, heavy rain and gusty winds will impact the southern Windward Islands on Friday night and Saturday, that may result in some minor damage and power outages, based on information from accuweather.com.
