Over 4000 Weekly Public Sector workers paid on time during Closure of Federation’s Borders

Prime Minister, Dr. the Hon. Timothy Harris reported on the payment of the Auxiliary workers and STEP workers during the closure of the Federation’s borders.

Prime Minster Harris provided some statistics and gave commendations to the Accountant General, Mr. Levi Bradshaw, as well as his department:

The People Employment Program (PEP) was established by the previous Labour Party-led administration as a short-term six months program in 2012 but went beyond the prescribed time.

In 2017, the Team Unity Administration renamed it, the Skills Training Empowerment Program (STEP).
