SKN seeking other Avenues for COVID-19 Vaccines

She made the disclosure at the NEOC Briefing on Wednesday, February 10th, 2021.

 

According to a release from the Guyana Chronicle, the Government of India is donating 500,000 COVID-19 vaccines to Caribbean countries.

 

Countries such as Barbados and Dominica have received portions of that donation.

 

However, on February 8th, Indian High Commissioner to Guyana – Dr. K. J. Srinivasa stated that he is working closely with many other countries, including St. Kitts and Nevis, as it relates to vaccines. 

 

The VONNEWSLINE inquired if India is one of the possible avenues for procuring COVID-19 vaccines for the Federation. Medical Chief of Staff at the JNF General Hospital, Dr. Cameron Wilkinson gave this information:
