Accidents continue to plague SKN

Police have reported on a few accidents that occurred in late July.

 

 

 

They say it occurred July 26th 2023 in Cabbage Tree Hill, St. Kitts, at around 7pm. Driver of motor van PB – 367, Annouska James of Cayon, St. Kitts and rider of motor bike PB – 4162 was Jamal Liburd of Saddler’s village, St. Kitts.

 

 

 

Preliminary reports indicate that both vehicles were travelling in the same direction. Mr. Liburd swerved to avoid a line of traffic that was ahead of him and fell off of his motor bicycle. A piece of the motor bicycle broke lose and hit the right side mirror of Ms. James’ vehicle which was travelling behind Mr. Liburd.

 

 

 

Mr. Liburd was transported to the hospital where he was warded at the Accident and Emergency Department of the Joseph N. France General Hospital for treatment of broken fingers on his left hand, and cuts and bruises about the body.

 

 

 

Another occurred on Sunday July 30th, between 3:30PM & 4:30PM on Cayon Street, vicinity of St. Johnston’s Village, St. Kitts and involved motor car R – 1134 driven by Sudan Wilson of New road housing, St. Kitts and driver of motor SUV PB – 2236 Yoandry Lopez of Royal St. Kitts.

 

 

 

Circumstances Preliminary investigations indicate that Yoandry Lopez was travelling from west to east towardsFrigate Bay via Cayon Street. Sudan Wilson’s vehicle was exited the Cayon Street stop at St. Johnston’sVillage and made a right turn onto Cayon Street and collided with Lopez’s vehicle. Yoandry Lopez was issued with a medical form following the incident.
