PAM celebrates 60th anniversary with Gala

People’s Action Movement (PAM) celebrated its diamond anniversary (60 years) with a gala on Saturday Jan. 18thPAM was founded on Jan. 19th 1965.

 

To celebrate, the event was held at the St. Kitts Marriott Resort, Among the entertainment was Nevis’ Garlic & Upper Level Band. During the event, a tribute was given to the party’s past Leaders and present leader.

 

According to the political party, “the gala was a testament to PAM’s enduring legacy and its commitment to creating meaningful connections within the community.”

 

In her remarks, PAM’s Political Leader Mrs. Natasha Grey Brookes reflected on the party’s history and outlined a vision for the future, centered on the theme of “A Legacy of Service”. She introduced a “Rescue Plan”—a New Agenda to address the political and economic challenges facing the nation.

 

Concerned Citizens Movement (CCM) and the Nevis Reformation Party (NRP) were represented at the gala. PAM said “their presence symbolized the shared vision and collaboration between the islands.”
