The Ministry of Health of Saint Kitts and Nevis has shared on social media that it has welcomed a total of 47 nursing professionals from the Republic of Ghana to St. Kitts and Nevis under the Bilateral Labour Agreement between the two countries.
The arrival of the nurses is expected to strengthen the country’s healthcare workforce by enhancing both institution-based and community-based health services. Their addition will support improved patient care, expand community outreach, strengthen chronic disease management, and contribute to better health outcomes nationwide.
The recruitment is a part of ongoing efforts to bolster the healthcare system by addressing workforce needs and improving the delivery of essential health services across the Federation.
