Prime Minister, Dr. the Hon. Timothy Harris in an address to the nation on Wednesday evening, has urged residents and citizens of St. Kitts and Nevis, to choose wisely, when the next General Elections are called.
This comes as the National Assembly of St. Kitts and Nevis was dissolved on Tuesday, May 12th, 2020.
Regarding the Holding of elections, Chapter 4, Part 3, sub-section 48 of the Constitution of St. Kitts and Nevis states “a general election of members of the Assembly shall be held at such time within ninety days after any dissolution of the Legislature as the Governor-General may appoint.”
