Aug. 5th Elections: To be deserving, or not deserving? 

“What makes the Real Unity Movement deserving of an opportunity to serve the people of SKN and thus, Nevis finally receiving its equitable share of the CBI’s proceeds? 

 

This question was posed to Premier and leader of the Concerned Citizens Movement (CCM), Mark Brantley at his Press Conference last month. The Premier has made efforts to get Nevis’ equitable share of the CBI’s proceeds.  

Presently, CCM is in an alliance with the People’s Action Movement (PAM) out of St. Kitts dubbed “Real Unity Movement”.

The two parties were part of the Team Unity alliance, which collapsed. In response to the VONNEWSLINE’s question, Mr. Brantley said:

Meantime, in a One on One interview with VON Radio’s Evered “Webbo” Herbert on Aug. 3rd, Mr. Brantley gave this response as to who will win the Nevis #9 constituency.

NRP’s Dr. Patricia Bartlette and MRM’s Samuel Caines will face Mr. Brantley, the incumbent, in the Federal Elections.
