“Beacons of hope and innovation”- PM New Year’s Gala Speaker

Prime Minister, Dr. Terrance Drew, held his New Year’s Gala on Saturday Jan. 4th, at the Marriott’s Dome in St. Kitts, which featured several names in entertainment, including special guest artiste out of Jamaica, Christopher Martin.

 

Giving the keynote address was, Raheemah Abdulaleem, Special assistant to the President of the USA, and General counsel in the White House, Executive Office of the President. She spoke on the theme: “Building Prosperity Through Sustainability”.

 

 She highlighted how the federation’s actions in protecting its natural beauty and resources, promoting sustainable practices, nurturing creativity, and preserving its cultural heritage, establishes St. Kitts and Nevis, as “beacons of hope and innovation for the region and the world.”

 

Additionally, in a social media post Prime Minister Drew expressed his gratitude to all individuals that made the event a success, stating that all proceeds from the gala, will go towards the Children’s Medical Fund.
