ECSE holds FIM Festival Regional Symposium

The Eastern Caribbean Securities Exchange (ECSE) held its Financial Information Month (FIM) Festival Regional Symposium, on Tuesday October 29th. 

 

It was held on the topic: “From Savers to Investors – Advance Your Financial Goals through Investing”, which coincides with the theme for FIM Month 2024: “Financial Investing, from saving to Investing”. 

 

FIM is an initiative spearheaded by the Eastern Caribbean Central Bank (ECCB), seeking to educate the public about making good financial decisions. It is celebrated every year in October. In keeping with the theme, one of the panelists, Head of Securities Brokerage at the Bank of St. Lucia Ltd, Lawrence Jean, explained that making money work for you, is beneficial. 

 

Also on the panel were: Licensed Principal at the Eastern Caribbean Securities Regulatory Commission Kishel Francis, CEO at the Eastern Caribbean Securities Regulatory Commission, Alousia Faisal and Senior Manager at the Operations Division of ECSE, Geron Burnett.
