A short film entitled “From Trash to Treasure” will make its way to the local stage. The activism inspired motion picture will be showing on Sunday, February 12th, 2023 starting 4pm at the Nevis Performing Arts Centre (NEPAC) so says Activist and Movie Producer, Ms. Yara Lee.
During Tuesday’s edition of the Let’s Talk Program, Ms. Lee expounded on the work of a US based organization known as ‘Cultures of Resistance’, who focuses on the needs and empowerment of countries globally south. Most of the films made by the organization are inspired and done in the countries according to Ms. Lee:
