Global partners of the SKN’s Tourism Sector are struggling amidst political conflict in the East causing increase in inflation and fuel prices off the charts. 

However, to provide some relief to Taxi Operators in the Federation, Federal Minister of Tourism, Hon. Lindsay Grant announced a measure that has been put in place:

In 2021, the Federal Government launched its 2^nd Stimulus Package, which was geared at augmenting support for citizens who are unemployed and have not worked from March 2020.

Under the package, there were three (3) programs. 

One of them in particular, the Fuel Subsidy, provided a top up of $400.00 to owners of passenger buses who have been negatively impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.
