Man in St. Kitts sentenced to 21 years for Rape and Buggery

Abkim Bryan (30) has been sentenced to a total of 21 years for the combined charges of Rape and Buggery.

 

 

 

The ruling was carried out by Hon. Justice Iain Morley on February 12th in the High Court of Justice, St. Christopher Circuit.

 

 

 

The sentence comprises of 6 years on the offence of buggery and 15 years on rape consecutively. Time on remand shall count and Bryan shall be eligible for remission of one-third of his sentence if of good behaviour, meaning he can expect to serve at least 14 years.

 

 

 

The crimes were committed on the June 4th, 2019
