In August of this year, Premier and Senior Minister of Health, Mark Brantley, announced that the Alexandra Hospital on the island, acquired a polymerase chain reaction (PCR) Test machine that will allow for COVID-19 testing to be carried out at the Hospital’s laboratory.
But why hasn’t the island of Nevis commenced testing, since we have the machine? Against that backdrop, on Oct. 6th, Minister Brantley gave this comment.
Furthermore, the local government will acquire an additional machine for testing.
