NRP select Female candidate to run in St. Thomas in place of retired Joseph Parry

Former leader and sole elected member of the Nevis Reformation Party in the Nevis Island Assembly the Hon. Joseph Parry, has retired from active politics.

This retirement created a vacancy of that seat which according to the Party’s Leader, Mr. Robelto Hector, now has a candidate to fill it.

According to the Leader, the Party has selected its candidate in the person of a female to represent that Parish of St. Thomas’.

He explained why the decision was made to have Mrs. Stapleton-Simmonds as representative for the area.

Mr. Parry retired from active politics on Monday 6^th January 2020 after being involved with politics for over 30 years.

He was first elected on the NRP ticket in December 1987.
