The Alexandra Hospital expansion project continues and Nevis’ Premier, the Hon. Mark Brantley, provided an update as he remains optimistic:

The project will see a new wing of more than 60,000 square feet added to the existing building, which will include a physiotherapy wing, pediatric isolation wing, laboratory wing, operating theatre and radiology wing.

The $19 million project was funded by the Sugar Industry Diversification Foundation (SIDF) and the NIA.

May 31st 2017 was the date the Government broke ground for construction.
