Minister with responsibility for Water Services here on Nevis, the Hon. Spencer Brand. 

He was speaking at a recent town hall meeting here on Nevis, which was held by the Nevis Island Administration (NIA).

As a result of the Coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic, the NIA has reduced the price of water for its consumers. 

The last time the NIA increased the price of water, was in 2018.  

Consumers experienced a 30% increase on their water bills and back in December 2019, Minister Brand announced that Nevis’ Water Department, recorded an increase in revenues collected from 2018-2019, since the 30% increase.
