Shadwell shooting incident under investigation, police say

A shooting incident occurred on Monday Aug. 14th, in Shadwell, St. Kitts, between 4pm and 4:30pm, police say.

 

 

 

The Special Services Unit (SSU) of the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force (RSCNPF) responded and found Gavin Amory of Shadwell, outside his home with a bullet wound to the right ankle.

 

 

 

Two (2) masked assailants on a motor bike approached Mr. Amory and a family member who were seated outside, and fired two (2) gunshots at them. While attempting to escape the attack, Mr. Amory sustained the wound to his ankle. He was subsequently transported by the Emergency Medical Services (EMS) to the JNF General Hospital.

 

 

 

The Crime Scene Unit (CSU) processed the scene and collected some items of evidential value. An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
