Speeding continues to be an issue in St. Kitts & Nevis. During a programme on Jan. 15th, which is put on by the Traffic Department within the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force, Sargeant Sophia Henry, provided these statistics:
The Federal Government announced a committee earlier this month, which includes Attorney General, Garth Wilkin, to assist in reducing the number of accidents and fatalities. Several individuals including PM Terrance Drew and Premier Mark Brantley, have appealed to the motoring public to drive with due care and attention. Unfortunately, the nation was plunged into a state of shock, when on Jan. 11th, the Federation’s 1st road fatality victim was a four month-old baby.
