The Eastern Caribbean’s Powerhouse VON Radio is now 35.

The Station opened its doors to serve the public on June 18th, 1988.

History was made on Nevis with the establishment of the island’s first radio station by BVI Nevisian resident and Founder of Von Radio, Mr. Merritt Herbert (now deceased).

With its motto “Only THE BEST will do”, through the years, VON Radio dubbed “the Caribbean’s Powerhouse” has stood tall throughout the test of time.

VON Radio’s General Manager, Mr. Evered “Webbo” Herbert remains at the helm of the station as VON continues to provide the general public with efficient service through its news, programs, advertisements, birthday greetings, death announcements and more.
