From April 15th, 2024, persons who are issued prescriptions from private health practices will have to get prescriptions filled at the private pharmacies in the federation.
This comes following a number of issues being faced by the Ministry of Health in supplying the subsidized prescriptions to all patients who go to the public pharmacy as well as the effect it is currently having on the private pharmacies across the island.
