Lights at Mondu Track are “in a workable state”, says Nevis’ Minister of Sports
Nevis’ Minister of Sports, et.al, Troy Liburd.
His comments were made during the Feb. 12th edition of “On the Mark”. Mr. Liburd was speaking about new lights the Nevis Island Administration (NIA) ordered to rectify the lights issue at the Mondu Track (or Nevis Athletics Stadium, Long Point). The VONNEWSLINE recently received reports of poor lighting in that facility, which led to the Charlestown Secondary School’s Sports Meet ending before the usual time.
