Cape Air Flights to return to Vance Amory International Airport

Cape Air has announced the return of flights into the Vance W. Amory International Airport, Nevis. The announcement which was made on Dec. 19th, would provide Nevis with air access to major United States airline flights via a convenient connection at St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands.

 

 

 

It also said that from February 15th, 2023, one daily flight and two flights on Sundays will operate between St. Thomas’ Cyril E. King Airport and Vance Amory International Airport.

 

 

 

Chief Executive Officer and President of Cape Air, Ms. Linda Markham, was quoted as saying, “We are delighted to see the return of Cape Air to Nevis…”. She added “Convenient interline agreements with our airline partners American, JetBlue, United, and Delta will allow for widespread distribution, increasing access to Nevis as a tourism destination.”

 

 

 

Premier and Minister of Tourism, Hon Mark Brantley responding to the news says with Cape Air’s interline agreements with JetBlue, Delta, American Airlines and United Airlines “this route affords passengers to Nevis a viable alternative from various parts of the United States, as well as providing a welcomed connection for our people traveling between the US Virgin Islands and Nevis.” “This daily service (for weekdays) and twice daily service on Sundays should assist us in providing greater access to Nevis”, Mr. Brantley was quoted as saying.
